What you should know about Greek personal pronouns


In Greek, the personal pronoun is only used, if something is to be stressed.
There are two forms of personal pronouns: the strong form and the weak form.

Singular Plural
1rst person εγώ I 1st person εμείς we
2nd person εσύ you 2nd person εσείς you
3rd person αυτός he 3rd person αυτοί they (male)

αυτή she
αυτές they (female)

αυτό it
αυτά they (neuter)

The personal pronouns' genitive and accusative forms are applied as objects which have both weak and strong forms.
