The Greek syntax


The basic syntax in Greek is formed as follows:
subject + predicate + object

Compared to other languages, the Greek syntax is flexible:
subject, predicate and object can be switched and be positioned differently.

Note:
Since the Greek syntax is flexible, a supposed interrogative clause can accidentally be formed which is not intended to be an interrogative.
In Greek an interrogative clause is indicated by the intonation:
By raising the voice the speaker indicates a question.
