An easy to remember rule for some verbs ending in ā€œ-ireā€

Some verbs ending in ā€œ-ireā€ add an ā€œ-isc-ā€ between the stem and the ending in the singular forms and in the 3rd person plural.

Irregular verbs ending in ā€œ-ireā€ capire (to understand)
singular plural
io (I) capisco noi (we) capiamo
tu (you) capisci voi/Voi (you) capite
lui/lei/Lei
(he, she, it)
capisce loro (they) capiscono
