18 diciotto eighteen
19 diciannove nineteen
20 venti twenty
 

Italian numbers from eleven to sixteen are formed by adding the suffix ā€œ-diciā€.

For numbers 17 to 19, ā€œdici-ā€ is placed before the number, so (diciassette) is pronounced like ā€˜ten-seven’.
Also note that numbers 17 and 19 carry a double consonant.

💬 Examples:
Ho due fratelli e tre sorelle. – I have two brothers and three sisters.
Ho comprato cinque mele. – I have bought five apples.
Giovanni ha diciannove anni. – Giovanni is nineteen years old.
Vorrei duecentocinquanta grammi di pomodori. – I would like two hundred and fifty grams of tomatoes.
L'albergo costa duecento euro a notte. – The hotel costs two hundred euros per night.
Mio padre ha sessantadue anni. – My father is sixty-two years old.
Devi comprare un chilo di fragole e cinquecento grammi di prosciutto cotto. – You have to buy a kilo of strawberries and five hundred grams of cooked ham.
Abbiamo bisogno di tre sedie a sdraio e due ombrelloni. – We need three deckchairs and two parasols.
