This chapter presents you another “new” tense that the Bosnian language features: the aorist.

It's important to know that only perfective verbs are able to build an aorist form.
(Maybe you'd like to revise the chapter on the aspect in this context.)

As this verb form is only used in written Bosnian, we will leave it at presenting you the aorist form of the verb “biti” (to be) – as you will later need these to build the conditional.
If you translate the Bosnian aorist into English, we advise you to use the imperfect.
