French Question sentences

The most common way of French Questions is the so-called Intonation Question. This interrogative sentence has the same sentence structure as the "normal" declarative sentence.
The question is only made clear by intonation, i.e. the speaker raises his voice a little at the end of the sentence.

In Addition there are some Interrogative pronouns that induce a Question:

Pourquoi?
Why?
Quoi? / Que?
What?
Lequel(m) / Laquelle(f)?
Lesquels (m, pl) / Lesquelles (f,pl)?
Which?

💬 For Example:
Qui a vu le voleur? - Who saw the thief?
Qu'est-ce qu'il y aura Ă  manger? - What will there be to eat?
