Croatian demonstrative pronouns

Just like in English, Croatian uses demonstrative pronouns to point at a person or object – near or far away.
Demonstrative pronouns are declined.
Their declension follows the same pattern as Croatian adjectives.

Synthesis:

masculine form:
ovaj – this one
taj – that one over there
onaj – that one
 
feminine form:
ova – this one
ta – that one over there
ona – that one
 
neuter form:
ovo – this one
to – that one over there
ono – that one

💡For example, let's go shopping and buy some new (masculine and feminine grammatical gender) cloth:
A: Koju košulju biste htjeli? – Which shirt would you like?
B: Uzet ću ovu ovdje! – I'll take this one here.
C: A ja ću uzeti tu tamo. – And I'll take that one over there.
 
A: Koji kaput biste htjeli? – Which coat would you like?
B: Uzet ću ovaj! – I'll take this one.
C: A ja ću uzeti taj. – And I'll take that one.
