Possessive Pronouns in Portuguese

A Portuguese possessive pronoun has to be adjusted to its reference word.
Since there are no cases in Portuguese, you only have to make adjustments in terms of grammatical gender and number (singular or plural).

💡 Important rule:
Please remember that the gender of the possessive pronoun always depends on its reference word (the possession itself) and never on the “owner”!

💬 e.g.
🇵🇹 Este Ă© o meu telemĂłvel.
🇬🇧 That's my mobile/cell phone.

🇵🇹 Estes sĂŁo os meus telemĂłveis.
🇬🇧 These are my cell phones.

🇵🇹 Vicente procura a sua irmĂŁ.
🇬🇧 Vicente is looking for his sister.

🇵🇹 Vicente procura o seu irmĂŁo.
🇬🇧 Vicente is looking for his brother.
