Comparative (1st comparison)
More and Less:
mais/menos + adjective

The majority of comparatives in Portuguese grammar are made by placing the words “mais” (more) and “menos” (less) before the adjective, instead of adding a suffix as is often the case in English.

💬 e.g.
🇵🇹 interessante – mais interessante
🇬🇧 interesting – more interesting

🇵🇹 interessante – menos interessante
🇬🇧 interesting – less interesting

🇵🇹 lindo – mais lindo
🇬🇧 beautiful – more beautiful
