Commissions

For every 17 Minute Languages' product you sell, we will pay you the following commissions:

Category 1 (Language courses to learn English, French, Spanish, Italian, German):
- Complete Packages and the product "All 42 Complete Packages": 35%
- all other products: 67%
Category 2 (Language courses to learn Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Greek, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Czech, Hungarian):
- Complete Packages and the product "All 42 Complete Packages": 25%
- all other products: 54%
Category 3 (All other language courses):
- Complete Packages and the product "All 42 Complete Packages": 25%
- all other products: 45%

Second tier commissions

Apart from selling our products, you can also sign up new affiliates. We pay out commissions based on this model:

Level 1: 100% of the commission
Level 2: 2% of the commission
Level 3: 1% of the commission
Level 4: 1% of the commission

This means:

Level 1: Those are products you sell by yourself. You receive the full commission for that, as listed in the yellow box above.
Level 2: Those are the affiliates you signed up. You receive 2% of what THEY are getting in commissions.
So if an affiliate you signed up sells a product with 40% commissions, he/she gets 40% commission for that, and you receive 2% of 40% = 0.8%.
Level 3: Those are the affiliates that your level 2 affiliates signed up.
You sign up an affiliate, and that affiliate signs up another affiliate. If that affiliate sells a product with 40% commissions, you receive 1% of those 40%.
Level 4: And if that affiliate signes up affiliates, you receive 1% of what they are getting.

Payouts

To keep costs low and commissions high, we only payout if you have accumulated more than 100 Euro in commissions.
We payout via Paypal or to European bank accounts that have an IBAN number.
You must live in a country that's part of the European Union or EFTA, otherwise you are not allowed to be an affiliate and you won't be able to earn any commissions.

Details

Commissions appear in your commission stats about one business day after the sale of the product happened.

If a product is being returned, the commission will be canceled.

VAT and currencies

All commissions are calculated on the sales price after deducting payment fees (from Paypal or the credit card payment system). Your commission will be calculated in Euro. Prices vary from country to country. If a payment is made in another currency than Euro, it is converted automatically to Euro.
If a product is sold in the European Union, commissions are calculated on the net price (= the price exclusive VAT).
VAT is added to your payout if you are subject to VAT.
For refunded, partly refunded, canceled, returned or partly returned products we don't pay you commissions. You are not allowed to send us paid traffic for search terms that include "17 Minute Languages", "17 Minutes", "17 Minute" or "17 Min" as we don't pay commissions for resulting sales.

Dropshipping

We offer dropshipping in some countries. Dropshipping products are around 50% off of the customer price and are commission free.

Commision-free products

Dropshipping, partner courses, polyglot packages and extention packages are commision free.

Affiliate Agreement

Before you can start earning commissions, you need to fill out the Affiliate Agreement.
